I love the combination of visual elements in this piece and how balanced it feels. The concept while not completely original was done in a very unique and interesting way. The fact that the effort was made to retouch the model is something I noticed right away and appreciated, something I've always admired in work of artist like Rob Shields. What grabbed me right away about this piece was the fact that it had contrast and elements that manipulate my eye direction forcing me to focus on the main subject. It something very subtle but that I have always found myself paying attention to or looking for in images. This was very well done.
